Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is among the most efficient combos I’ve tested. Its base station features an enormous water tank as well as a dustbin, and its double rubber brush is less likely to cause tangles in hair than single bristles.

Its mopping performance excels and its AI mapping excels in the midst of obstacles. It is also able to pause its cleaning job and resume where it began.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo J9+ is a robot mop that doubles as a vacuum cleaner that is among the most advanced available. It features a sleek, self-emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two mopping cycles. It’s designed to look and feel like a small desk. It’s also the only robotic mop we tested that comes with an onboard water reservoir to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each mopping and vacuum cycle.

The mopping arm is placed unobtrusively at the top of the unit. It lowers when it detects hard surfaces, and starts to scrub. It moves slowly and cautiously over surfaces so it doesn’t accidentally splash wet spills or mud on carpeted areas. It does a good job of staying clear of the way of cords, furniture, and other obstacles.

The iRobot Home App is smarter than many robot vacuums. It lets you customize the settings of your vacuum and also prioritize rooms according to dirtiness, schedule cleaning time, and much more. The app also offers detailed maps of your home, seasonal suggestions and custom cleaning routines and smart home integrations that are intuitive.

This robot vacuum and mop utilizes iRobot’s Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects, such as sofas, counters, and tables. It can be controlled with Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, making it easy to clean your home.

Contrary to other mopping and vacuum robots like the Roomba J9+ makes a complete map of your home seven times more quickly than previous models and categorizes each area by floor type, ensuring that it will always remember to vacuum or mop the area you want. It also features a new Turbo Mode that increases suction power for tough areas. With iRobot’s Dirt Detective it will learn about your cleaning habits and make adjustments to the cleaning priorities and settings for the most soiled areas of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

The Yeedi M12 Pro+, with its user-friendly interface and premium features is a formidable competitor in the market of automatic mop and vacuum robots. Its powerful suction and innovative mopping technology make it a perfect cleaning companion for smart homes. Its reasonable price and intelligent automation make it a perfect choice for households on a budget.

To begin using the M12, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen directions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will prompt you to create a unique naming for your new robot. It’s important to note that the M12 can only be used on 2.4 GHz networks only.

The M12 has a variety of cleaning modes for vacuuming and mopping. Its clever design allows it to map a room in just six minutes and then adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its mopping technology is advanced and includes two spinning pads that are electronically controlled water as well as a “True Edge Adaptive Edge Mopping System” that helps ensure thorough cleaning of all edges of the floor.

In terms of navigation, the M12 uses LiDAR and IR to avoid obstacles. The sensors are capable of picking up larger objects such as HVAC vents and furniture. However, they may struggle with smaller objects like cables and small rags which could cause the robot to miss areas.

The M12’s built-in inclinometer enables it to recognize and navigate through stairs. It can also return automatically to its OMNI Station to dry and wash mop brushes and replenish its water tank. If the batteries are depleted and the OMNI Station is empty, the OMNI Station can even clean itself and empty the dust bin when its batteries are empty.

3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is at the cutting edge of robotic cleaning. It packs a variety of features into a compact package. It has a high mopping capacity, as well as a camera to help it avoid obstacles. It also has a powerful vacuum that senses when it is sweeping over carpets. It also has advanced technology and voice assistant capabilities.

It is an extremely powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It completed our 1,500 square feet test area in just 101 minutes, and then the battery ran out and it returned to its dock. Its mop automatically cleans itself between uses. This feature reduces the cost of maintenance while keeping the pads clean. A dock sensor detects when a mop’s pad becomes dirty and initiates a wash cycle.

The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors, has an intelligent system which can detect household items such as shoes and pet waste by using cameras and LIDAR. It performed well in our obstacle avoidance test, with just one minor hiccup (it got stuck when unwinding a ball that was tangled around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts a new 10,000pa suction power, more than double its predecessor. This makes it a great choice for homes with lots of carpeting and a variety of floor types. The vacuum can also be programmed to automatically increase suction when moving dirt or crumbs.

As with previous models, there are docking stations that can be positioned in various rooms to in the process of cleaning and mopping. The docking station can be connected to the plumbing system and will drain and refill the water tank after you’re done.

4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

The Dreame X40 Ultra is the most recent model of the model of the top robot vacuum and mop from Dreame and comes with some features that the company’s less expensive models don’t have. It is an impressive suction power and can mop floors easily. It has many advanced features like an auto-expanding mop heads and self-detangling rollers for brush. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads will be automatically cleaned and drained in hot water. After every cleaning session, the dirty water tank will also be automatically emptied.

It offers advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule. For instance you can set a specific start and end time for each cycle, or whether it should be able to vacuum carpets first before mopping. It can be programmed to re-clean dirty areas and to increase suction around cat litter and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to accomplish specific tasks, such as cleaning a kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush when it detects wet spots, and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and operate it, with an easy-to-use and user-friendly app and a broad range of features. It is quieter than most corded vacuums, and has only the occasional low hum of its motor and a burst of suction when cleaning. Its navigation system, which uses cameras, 3D structured lights, multiple lasers, and a 3D structured light to identify and avoid obstacles it is impressive. This makes the X40 Ultra receive one of the highest scores in our evaluations for obstacle avoidance.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro has been designed to be an efficient mop and vacuum combo that is also user-friendly. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and refills its own tank with clean water. It automatically emptying the dust bin into a smaller container it washes and dry its own mop pad in between cleaning sessions. It also has a sophisticated feature set that lets it switch between hard and rugs, effectively remove dirt and pet hair from carpets, and clean raised room thresholds.

The S1 Pro’s navigation and mapping capabilities are excellent, with the internal dToF LiDAR device that allows it to keep a low profile while still delivering top-notch object avoidance. It is able to drive close to walls and avoid steps without crashing. It also automatically raises the mop when driving on short-pile carpets. However, it struggled with longer-pile carpets and some long, thick messes of dried-on debris.

Like many robots, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box, and requires only an initial mapping session to learn its way around your home. The map will then be displayed in the app, and you can join or add rooms as necessary. You can also set up virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go zones if you don’t want the robot to touch specific items.

The S1 Pro does a great job of removing messes from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head, which puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it an excellent choice for homes that have both types of flooring. However, its dependence on Eufy cleaning products (which are included in the box) makes it less versatile than other robots which allow you to use your own cleaning solutions.
